September 11th Mass of Remembrance and Prayer for Peace

On Friday, September 11 at 6:00 PM, we invite our parish community to gather at St. Francis Church, Brant Beach, for a special Mass of Remembrance and Prayer for Peace marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

We join the many churches throughout our country who will gather on September 11 in prayer. Together, we will remember all those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as well as their families and all whose lives were forever changed that day.

Twenty-five years later, our world continues to experience war, violence, division, and suffering. As people of faith, we gather not only to remember, but also to turn to God in prayer for healing and for peace among all people and nations.
