Young Adult Minister (Part-Time)
Department: Family Faith Formation
Reports to: Director of Family Faith Formation
Status: Part-Time, HourlyPay: Starting at $20 per hour

Purpose of the Position
The Young Adult Minister develops and implements a relational ministry for adults ages 18–39, fostering faith, fellowship, and service rooted in the USCCB’s Sons and Daughters of the Light. The minister helps connect young adults with Christ, the Church, and each other through meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Young Adult Ministry Development
Plan and lead gatherings for:
Faith formation (small groups, book studies, theology nights)
Prayer and worship (holy hours, retreats, communal prayer)
Fellowship (social events, community meals, outings)
Service (volunteer projects, outreach opportunities)
Encourage vocational discernment and leadership development.
2. Parish & Diocesan Collaboration
Coordinate efforts with parish staff and ministries to integrate young adults into parish life.
Partner with the Diocese of Trenton and nearby parishes for regional events and resources.
3. Communication & Administration
Promote activities through parish channels and social media.
Maintain records and ensure Safe Environment compliance.
Assist with budget tracking and event planning logistics.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Practicing Catholic committed to Church teachings and spiritual growth.
Strong communication, leadership, and event planning skills.
Experience working with young adults or similar age groups.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in ministry or theology.
Familiarity with Sons and Daughters of the Light and young adult ministry best practices.
Tech-savvy with social media and communication tools.
Knowledge of Franciscan spirituality.
Working Conditions
Work takes place in parish office and offsite locations.
Part-time role, approx. 20–25 hours/week with flexible scheduling.
Light physical activity required (lifting materials, event setup).

Seeking an individual who enjoys working with people, staying organized and being a part of a fast-paced aquatic environment. Must be over the age of 18 years, have customer service experience, and be able to communicate effectively with staff and guests. Will be responsible for overseeing the aquatic center and providing support to lifeguards and swim instructors.
Days: Saturdays and Sundays (approx. 8 hours per day)
Pay: $16.50/hr

Certified Pool Operator (CPO)- Seeking an individual to serve as CPO for the St Francis Aquatic Center. CPO Certification is Preferred. Please note: CPO Certification required within 30 days of hire if no certification is currently held– Certification fee paid by St Francis aquatics. Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our aquatics facility including one indoor and two outdoor (seasonal) pools.
Part time position with flexible schedule

Must have experience working directly with children and families, as well as staff supervision. Must have strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities, alongside knowledge of child development and safety regulations. Degree in Early Childhood or CDA preferred. Will be responsible for overseeing all school aged programs and Summer Vacation club, will assist the Director in maintaining children’s files, assist in planning fundraisers, events, and field trips. Will be expected to assist in classrooms when needed for coverage.
