Parish - Job Opportunities

  • Position: Family Faith Administrator, Full time with Benefits

    Applicant should be a practicing Catholic with knowledge of the Catholic faith. Bachelor’s degree required, prefer background in Theology, Religious Education, or related field but not required.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning and supervising the implementation of curriculum for the Religious Education classes grades 1-8, Monthly classes, Sacramental Preparation, and events. Oversee registration of families, budget, volunteer recruitment and training, catechist formation, and office management. Able to work in a supervisory position and minister to coworkers, volunteers, children, and families. Must be available to attend Diocesan trainings and pursue ongoing formation. Must be able to lift approximately 30 lbs.

    Days/Hours- Monday-Friday (must be available for evening classes and some weekend events)

  • Maintenance Department

    Position: Full time Maintenance worker- Summer seasonal position with the potential for year round work. Seeking applicants who can start ASAP. Will assist with scheduled and unscheduled building maintenance, grounds maintenance, setup/take down for events, etc. Some knowledge/experience in Plumbing, Electric, Carpentry, and HVAC Systems preferred, not required. Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning of Community Center and Parish properties. Must be able to lift 50lbs and must have valid driver’s license.

    Pay: Starting at $15.13 per hour (based on experience)

    Days/Hours: Monday- Friday- with potential for evening or weekend hours for events

Community Center - Job Opportunities

  • Positions: Full time or Part time Licensed Counselor, Bilingual (Fluent English/Spanish) preferred but not required

    Days: Monday through Friday (Some evening hours required)

    Must complete 40-hour Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate Training (provided free of charge by the agency).

    On-site clinical supervision is provided.

    Must have Current Professional License: LSW, LAC, LPC or LCSW.

Be willing to fulfill his/her responsibilities in accordance with the Center’s/Children’s Services Philosophy/Mission Statement. Background in early childhood education working with Toddlers (13 mon-2yrs) a must. Prefer prior supervisor experience. First Aid & CPR Certified and Bi-Lingual a plus but not required

    Position: Year-round, Full-time, Monday-Friday

    Pay: $17.00/hr.

  • Recreation/Pool (Seasonal Position)

    Position: Summer Seasonal Lifeguard (possibility for year round hours)

    Summer employment for an indoor pool and 2 seasonal outdoor pools.

    MUST currently possess Red Cross pool lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.

    Days: Monday-Friday, and/or weekend – flexible schedule

    Pay: $15.13

  • Family Support Services

    Position: In-home Bilingual Therapist (fluent English/Spanish)

    Full time Position - Therapist will travel throughout Ocean County to conduct therapy sessions with DCP&P referred clients in home. Applicants must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Must have Current Professional License: LSW, LAC, LPC, or LCSW.

    Clinical supervision provided at no cost to the employee.

    Days: Monday through Friday- 35 hours per week.
