Capital Campaign

Fr. Francis Di Spigno, OFM,
Pastor

A few people have asked me about the status of the Capital Campaign. The short answer is we are moving forward and we will be rolling out the first stages of the campaign within the next few weeks.

The longer answer includes my request of Ruotolo Associates to speed up their proposed timeline. They did, however, they knew better than me. Because we are a very unique parish with a congregation that ebbs and flows like the tide depending on the time of the year, there is a challenge finding the right timeline that is appropriate for us. We don’t neatly fit into any “cookie-cutter” template.

The steering committee has been working diligently to find the best way to proceed and ensure the success of this project. We want to ensure we address all the needs identified while finding a plan that will be more cost-effective for our parish.

At this point, we are wrapping up the final stages of the planning phase, and we are about to begin the early stages of the Capital Campaign. We will begin with smaller groups and eventually all families will be invited to participate.

We aim to have the new timeline plan finalized in the coming weeks and begin the campaign in earnest over the Summer. As soon as we have more information, I will be sure to let you know.

This is an exciting time for our parish as we aim to safeguard our parish and center for generations to come.

In the meantime, we ask that you please keep our parish in your prayers for the success of this project.

Thank you again to everyone who participated in the pre-Campaign study and anticipated thanks to all of you who will participate in the Campaign itself. Stay tuned. More to come.

Peace and All Good
