October 7, Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary

And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  (Lk 11:9)

This section of the gospel, Luke 11:5-13, is about perseverance in prayer and is very appropriate for a day dedicated to the Our Lady of the Rosary.  I recall my grandmother praying the Rosary for her grandchildren and an extra one for me.  How many persevere in this great devotion and, with love, help their families with their prayer. I am grateful for them all.
