Daily Reflection: Wednesday, April 24

Wednesday, April 24

“I came into the world as light so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.” Jesus says in John’s Gospel. At our Baptism each of us received a candle lit from the large Paschal Candle, symbol of Jesus the light of the world. Our belief can enlighten us and give us a direction in life and help us resolve times when we may be confused and are lacking in knowing what to do. Jesus cares for us so much that this is one of the gifts that he has given to us even when we may have forgotten that this gift is there for us.

Fr. Andrew
