Now that the annual Festival of the Sea is over, I think about the very positive things that happened during its five days. The last Festival that I was present for was in 2004. What struck me this year was the presence of so many families with their children. Some adults had been to the Festival in its early years and here they were as parents or grandparents. The faithfulness of volunteers also struck me and the friendly and helpful spirit that was created by them. The many local businesses that sponsored is always deeply appreciated. There is much more that can be said. We give thanks to God.
