National Marriage Week | February 7–14
National Marriage Day: Sunday, February 8
Each year, the Church in the United States celebrates National Marriage Week, a special time set aside to honor and support the beautiful gift of the Sacrament of Matrimony. From February 7 through February 14, we give thanks for married couples and pray for their continued growth in love, faith, and commitment.
During National Marriage Week, couples are encouraged to take intentional time to strengthen their bond and deepen their lifelong commitment to one another.
As part of our parish celebration, all married couples are warmly invited to attend Mass this weekend, where a Marriage Blessing will be offered at all weekend liturgies. Whether you have been married for many years or are newly married, this blessing is an opportunity to renew your vows in prayer and to entrust your marriage once again to God’s loving care.
Let us pray in thanksgiving for married couples in our parish community and ask God to strengthen all marriages in faith, love, and hope.
