Daily Reflection: Thursday, January 6

Thursday, January 6

If you have ever been to Montreal, you may have visited the Oratory of St. Joseph, a large, beautiful oratory inspired by St. Andre Bessette who had a great devotion to St. Joseph. Today is his feastday. He was a Brother of the Holy Cross who experienced poor health during his lifetime. Many people would come to him for prayer and comfort because they knew that he had his physical struggles. Often they had to wait in line to see him. Having a good friend at the time of poor health is a blessing. It is good to have Bro. Andre as a friend.

Fr. Andrew
