Daily Reflection: Tuesday, January 4
Tuesday, January 4
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is our saint for the day. She had a difficult life after her husband’s business failed and he died. She met the right people at the right time who gave her what she needed to overcome prejudice and a lack of acceptance. Asked to start a parish school, other women joined her and the Sisters of Charity of St. Joseph were formed. She was the first native-born in the United States to become a saint. Think of her when you may have to overcome obstacles in your life.
