The Feast of The Dedication of the Lateran Basilica

https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/110921.cfm

Today we celebrate the dedication of the first Catholic Basilica of Rome, by Pope Sylvester in 324. It is the episcopal seat of the Bishop of Rome. In our second reading, St. Paul tells us: “You are God’s building.” God’s Spirit is not just found in the church buildings. The Spirit of God dwells in us also. Do we reverence ourselves like we do the church, because of the indwelling of the Spirit? Today pray for the graces to make a worthy dwelling place for God’s Spirit inside of us.
