Wednesday, December 15
We go back to our Advent season with a reading from Isaiah. In the reading Isaiah speaks on behalf of the Lord and says: “I form the light and create the darkness” and I am “the creator of the heavens” and “the designer and maker of the earth” and “only in the Lord are just deeds and power.” Three times we hear “I am the Lord, there is no other.” This is an affirmation of the work of the Lord God whose presence is in us and around us. Take a moment or two to allow this realization to sink in to thoughts.
