Daily Reflection: Saturday, August 28

August 28, The Memorial of St. Augustine, Bishop and Doctor

On the subject of fraternal charity you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.  (1 Thes 4:9).

Paul observes the care and generosity that the Thessalonians have for other people.  It it so natural for them that it can only have come from God.  God teaches us, too, to love as freely as that.
