 In today’s gospel reading from Matthew, we heard Jesus tell us about offering forgiveness to someone who has sinned against us. We are not to spread it around to publicize it, to publicly harm the person. We are to go to the one who has harmed us in private to tell him/her about the hurt we experienced by their actions.  Reflect: Do I go to the one in private to work things out or do I gossip about the person? Pray today for the graces for the courage to go to those who harmed us.
