Bible Study Ministry
About
Since March 2011 people of our parish have been meeting twice a month to read, study, and discuss scripture in an informal setting. All are welcome for this open-minded listening and sharing of comments and questions by all group members. Faith-sharing is encouraged to help participants grow in their understanding of scripture and enrich their spiritual life.
Bible Study meets every other Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 AM in the St. Francis Center. Meetings are listed in the bulletin and the group leader, Tom Troyano also sends meeting reminders and notes before and after each session.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own Bibles and currently, The Gospel According to Mark published by Little Rock Scripture Study. Some participants also consult their own Bible commentaries and resources.
Every year the group gathers for a re-enactment of a Christian Passover meal.
