St. Francis of Assisi Parish is comprised of four churches:
St. Francis of Assisi Church - 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ
St. Thomas Aquinas Church - 2nd St. & Atlantic Ave., Beach Haven, NJ
St. Thomas of Villanova Church - 13th St. & Long Beach Blvd., Surf City, NJ
St. Clare Church - 56th St. & Long Beach Blvd., Loveladies, NJ
In the interest of community-building, but also for energy conservation, only St. Francis of Assisi Church, in Brant Beach, is open year round. The other churches are open according to the seasonal population on Long Beach Island.

The Transitus is a celebration to mark St. Francis of Assisi’s passage from this earthly life to everlasting life.
It is a beautiful way to celebrate our Franciscan spirit and to honor the humble man who is the patron saint of our parish.
